parts is parts
I'm tired of trying to clean up old nasty headlight buckets, most of which have to be modified to use the new plug in Halogen bulbs.... Anybody have a source for a universal type headlight bucket??? I like the Hagan's bucket, but not everything looks right with frenched headlights.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

couldn't you mod a new reproduction bucket for a '50's car? I know that Chevsofthe40s.com sells reproduction buckets for the '49-'52's.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

I think they do, the hole is fairly large at the back. if I get a chance tomorrow, I'll pull 1 of the headlights out of my '51 Chevy and snap a pic, mine are rusty but it should give you an idea.. actually I should pull both out and sand and clean them out. and then order 2 new headlights. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Dave, I saw some dandy stainless shapes in the cooking utensil aisle at the supermarket. No kidding. Take a look. There was a skillet at Albertson's that I thought would be just right for a dust shield. Just notch it for the caliper and install.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

Yup, used a few of those utensils myself Richard!!!
But, as I get older I must be getting lazy.... Looking for a store bought bucket that has all the whole to mount the ring and the indexing notch for the headlight bulb itself.....
