    Ebay is an addiction...next project...

I needed this like a hole in the head, but it was on ebay so what was I supposed to do???!! I have done a search within myself to see what is wrong with me and why I think I have to buy every derilict car on ebay.

When I was a kid living at home my dad (who is otherwise a great guy) would never let me bring home any project cars. What ever I was driving was the only vehicle I could own. Now I dont really blame him since we lived in suburbia with the obligatory 80'x100' piece of property. So there really was no place to park a junker (in my dads eyes at least). I had to turn down sooo many good deals on project cars because of his rules. So now I guess Im making up for all those lost projects and good deals....Hell, I still have a 41 Ford 2dr sedan to pick up in Little Rock that bought last September plus finish my 27 T coupe!!!

Anyway back to my newest Ebay purchase....Its just a body and bed, and its real rough, but its a 34 Ford chopped and channeled truck cab witha shortened bed of unknown origin. I think I got a pretty good deal on it, but the damn thing is over 9 hours away in Granger, Indiana!!!.....I have to admit, I was half hoping I would be out bid so I wouldnt have to make that long trip! Here's a couple of the ebay pics.....Wattaya think???

You are a sick, sick man. But you are in good company since most of us are just as sick. Nice little truck there. 9 hours is not too bad, I'm ready to head to Georgia (10 hours each way) to pick up my flathead motor and running gear. I also need that like a hole in the head, but I sure am excited.

Those truck cabs are fetching good money now. Dan is hot for one and we checked out a bunch of them at Daytona last November. $ 3-$4,000 for rusty cabs. Doors alone were going for $ 500-$ 1000 each.

Your T was getting lonely out there, now it has a stablemate.

I'm also a ebay addict, I just purchased a 34 ford coupe, (fiberglass) with a big block, and a 4 speed. I need that like a hole in the head also, since I haven't even finished the 32 roadster that I'm working on. This car seamed to good to pass up, and the price sounded good to me. It's only about 2hrs away, so hopefully I will be able to drive down tomorrow with the deposit so I can see the car in person. Ebay is a little scarey to send money to some unknown person. I'd much rather take the 2hr trip each way for a piece of mind. Hopefully everything will be as described. All my projects end up at my parents house. I live in a condo, but the folks have a big yard and garage. My father loves all the toys since he has a few of his own. My mother hates it. the ebay item number is 270230423591, let me know what you think.
