I talked to Ford today about availability on an AOD transmission he wasn't even sure if they had one for the 351/400 modified. He did say however, that they had built one without the computer controls for a small block Ford. It's funny when you can't even get a straight answer from Ford whether they made something or not. He siad he couldn't find it but, thought they had something for it. HUH wonder what something means? If they have an AOD that is not computer controlled they are not telling me.I have the feeling the want me to keep the tranny I have in my Bronco nowwhich is an 89' 351 Windsor small block with an AOD behind it that is computer controlled. Sorry I couldn't help more...but heck, Ford can't even help us.
