Salute to American grafetti
For those of you who couldn't make it. This turned out to be a great show. Here are a few shots I took, before I have to run to work!

Nice pictures, I saw the movie on the big screen when it came out, I thought it was great then, still do. My daughter bought me the tape in the early 80's. I watch it from time to time never get tired of it.
Thanks Richard

Looked like a good show. What did they do, pull the rear out from under the cop car during the show to recreate the scene in AG?
I rarely watch any movie more than once, but I have seen that one probably 20 times and still love it.

I had the same year galaxy as the cop car, could not find any parts for it. Looks like a fun show.

It was a blast. I got off work early, and ran into a guy with a fully done 50 F1. He showed me the hood latch sytem. Mine wasn't working right, and now I know why, my secondary release lever is bent. Now I know what to do to fix it. He had a nice merc flay head under the hood!
Don two days ago they did just that and recreated the axel pull at the same original sight! They have a video online I'll put up to let you share the experience!Last edited by stovens; 05-18-2008 at 12:39 AM.

Don I've been having troubles logging on this weekend, plus with work it seems almost desolate here. Here are a few more photos I thought you and Dan would like the first one

Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me when I ran into the F1, and I've got to wait until thursday before I get another day off to work on my F1, so it's not so pretty to look at right now!
Ken I wish SLO was closer, that sounds like fun. I'm sure if the cars there are even close to one of yours, that they will indeed be a sight worth seeing. Take some pictures and post them for us!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
