I also like the 68-72 and my daily is a 69 Crewcab. The 65-66 is the same chassis and all the chassis parts through 79 pretty much fit so it is a bolt up deal to put later disc brakes, power steering ect. on a slick. I have owned a couple and they are excellent cabs, like most old fords. The 61-64 is still a solid front axle with leaf springs. They are cool too and the unibody big window would be my pick of that vintage.
I really want another 57 tho.

I saw a 58 Chevy Cameo going for a few grand three years ago, after the owner passed away. If I knew you guys were around to help, I would have bought it. It had a rebuilt performance engine ready to drop in, the body work completely sanded and preped, and the frame all done. It was in pieces, just needed paint, new wiring and reassembly! Looking at what I have in my truck now, and factoring in the engine, body work,......Ouch! I should of jumped on it!
