Barn find....well...sort of.
Bought some product this weekend from a local old dude. I've been talking to him for several months about some old cars he had out at an old farmstead. He had and he finally agreed to sell them to me. My neighbor and I went and picked them this weekend. The weren't in the barn..but they were close to the barn At least 30 - 40 years ago he was wise enough to block them up out in the pasture so they weren't part of the earth.

Few more....
Also wondering if those old rear axles are worth anything...along with Model A frames, running gear and drivetrains? Picked up a few of those also.

This reminds me of some earlier misadventures with a '29 roadster hulk that was further gone than any here. There appears to be some valuable sheet metal here for five or six rods and the Model A block may still be good, but the other stuff is probably rusted beyond use. There is nothing more disheartening than trying to work with 70 year old bolts and gallons of WD40. That is why Brookville frames are so good. With new, modern frames the body metal can be rejuvanated and maybe a restorer can use an engine block or some drive line parts but usually when you remove the rust from a frame that has been outside in the weather for 50 years or so, what is left is "lace". Maybe a frame can be boxed back to useful strength but it would take careful inspection and a lot of work. Still this is a "bonanza" of early sheet metal.
