    how do I disconnect fuese holder?

     



    I'm trying to remove the radio from my '51 Chevy and the fuese holder will not come apart.. it looks like it should un-screw but I cannot get it to. the 2 peices will move just a little , but I cannot get it apart.. I really don't want to break it. how do I get it out?

    Well, I went out a little while ago and tried it, and it came right apart.. thought I got lucky when I saw a blown fuse but I replaced it and still don't have anything

    I believe there's a guy over on StoveBolt that rebuilds radios if you want to save it. Plus we have All Things Radio-related forum for any questions....joe

    I'm going to fix the radio for sure. I'm pretty sure only the vibrator needs replaced, which I think I could fix myself. I'm ordering the Vibrator from Chevsofthe40s anyway. It used to turn on every once in a while.
