Hot August Nights
Any CHR folks going to Hot August Nights in Reno, NV in early August? Be on the lookout for our bright red '53 Studebaker, I'd love to meet you.
This is an event every car guy should make it to at least once in their life. It takes over the whole town, car venues everywhere, lots of free live music from the good ol' days, real crusing both official and unofficial, great swap meet, big car auction and just a general great time

Stu I will try to be there this year, sans my ride! I'm trying to convince my neighbor to take his vintage 67 vette!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Hi Pat, I won't be out when that's going on, but I will be in town from the 13th to 24th. Staying at my oldest son's house in Elk Grove . Might try to go to Pleasanton. I think I still have your number, I'll check in when I get there, Hank

Went to Reno in my '64 pick up a few years ago in August. There were vintage cars, one after another for miles and miles. Talk about nostalgia, good times I will never forget.

Scooter, come on down! Lots of Washington folks make the trek.
It actually starts on Friday August 1st and runs through the 10th. Early on is more laid back and not so crowded. The activity and excitement builds as the week goes on. Jim is right about the time to see the most cars and events. We will get up there mid day on Tuesday.
