Antifreeze jug for body filler mixing bowl

I needed a new mixing bowl for body filler, so I was looking for somthing to use, and ended up cutting the side out of an empty antifreeze jug that I had... cleaned it with hot soapy water and then let it dry... after using it for mixing the filler.. I found out the filler does not stick to that type of plastic.. just flex it, and it will pop loose.

Good tip, you could also put that in the other thread, I can't think of it right now but there is one.

I thought your wife's white plastic cutting board was intended for mixing bondo! It doesnt stick and it washes up nicely before she notices it gone.

I found at Napa they sell a mixing board that has tear offs that I found works real well. After the mix and application let the mess sit and just toss in the can. I think about 50 or so sheets with a board, and spreader, around 20 bucks.

I was using glass for a while and just got tired of all the cleaning. Was working on a large project, the tear off thing really saved time and agravation...

At first I was giving the counter guy the bad eye cause I thought it was one of those ronco 19.95 deals , but after a try I thanked him. They are a nice time and mess saver, and no I do not get residuals for selling these things, but sure recommend em.
I have two brains, one is lost and the other is out looking for it

I've got a couple of the plastic ones that the body shop supply warehouse stocks.... They throw one in once in awhile when I do a large order or pay my bill or something...
