GRanglia, after seeing your first pic of the Vicki in front of the green house, I kept thinking to myself, I've seen this car somewhere before and that's probably the reason I thought it was a Street Beast. Well today I found out why, I was checking on some of the sites I haven't been to in a while and I found this one that I had been watching but forgot about. There are a lot more pics of the car. I'd have to agree, you got a sweet, sweet deal at $22,230.

Mike52 A freind back in Wa. told me about this car. As it happened my wife and I Were going out there to visit my father. My friend, Andy and I went over Lynwood to the consignment dealer to check out the car. I immediately started bidding on it, after I had gotten the history of the car from the dealer and the owners family. Thought it was too good a deal to pass up unless the bidding got ridiculous. Wasn't really what I was looking for but I've also liked Vicky's and they were on my short list of streetrods. Too Bad it is only a 'glas body....but...aske me if I care when the purists get all bent out of shape...lol

GR, please don't get the wrong idea, I love the car, don't care if it's tin or glass, it's still very, very nice, I can't believe it didn't sell for a lot more. If I were in your position, I would have bought it for that price. It was one of those things that you keep thinking about, "I know I've seen that before", but I've looked at soooo many pics of cars for sell all over the net. As I mentioned, I just stumbled across it last night while cleaning out some bookmarked sites.

Enjoy the ride, you've got a nice one.

    No offense taken Mike.

Funny story at least to me it was...last weekend just about 11 I took the Vicky down to the local auto parts/speed store to get a new air cleaner and show it to my friend Dan, who works there . Dan said "you need to to take this over to Milliken they are having a cruise-in car show today from about 10-3, for Milliken Madness Day"
Milliken is about 15 miles from my house. I went home changed the air cleaner out and finally properly tuned up the carb...about 1:30 I was done and bored so decided to cruise over to the show. I got there just before 2...met up with a few guys I know who were there, had to pay a entrance fee, no biggee, $10, was given a number etc....there were about fifty cars there, muscle cars, lead sleds, about a dozen street rods, a coulple of restored T's and A's then at 3:30 they called my name and number along with three other entrants....

I ended up winning the peoples choice trophy....

honestly I was shocked as all get out...I never, ever attend a car show hoping to win a trophy or award, to me it is meeting and greeting old friends and new, the BS'ing and bench racing.

Yeah I'm a bit proud of the Vicky now....A Trophy at her first show LOL.

Very sweet ride! The 33-34 Fords were always my favorites!.....The dead give away that it is a street beast body is the grille (in my opinion). It dosent really need it, but I bet it would look great with an original style chrome grille on it. Either way, its a great looking ride...enjoy it!!!

G.R. congrats on the first trophy, I told you it was a really cool car and evidently other people think so too. I'm sure this is only the first of many more trophies.

Really nice find! Great looking car. Smooooth. I'd take this over a dozen Anglias. Just my opinion for sure. Enjoy! Perley
