Yes they are the same, my 48 even still had radial arm shocks on the rear but the frames are all the same. I am sure that Fords were the same, then everything changes in 49."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

Old Henry was very good about stretching out designs and components for as long as he had to. Even his successors inherited that trait.........look at how long of a run they got out of the Fox Mustang with no real changes (1979-93).

If you ever feeling like reading a biography, Henry Fords is great. One of my favorite things he did was to award the contract to the engine company that would let him design the shipping crates. He then would disassemble them and they would be used as the floor boards in his model T, they would fit perfectly and have the cut outs for the clutch and brake. Smart guy!

It's funny, but I have lived here since '85 and have never been there or to the Edison Home, which is a few blocks from my home. My family has been there and says it's terrific, but for some unknown reason I haven't.
I'll have to do that one of these days.

The first model car I built was a 32 Ford roadster by Revell in the mid 50's.
How did you get hooked on cars?
