    Bought the 47 Ford...

Well I bought it!!...Everyone here pretty much agreed about the chassis being the same as the 41 Ford. Only one person (on another forum) thought they were different. Besides, I think the chassis that comes with it may be repairable.
I need another project like a hole in the head, but I just cant turn down a good deal!!.........here's a couple pics....(best part is it's just over an hour away!)

"Can't turn down a good deal." None of us other guys are suffering from that same affliction. If you find a cure, please let us know.........our Wifes and Girlfriends would pay BIG money for that antidote.

Coupe looks good. Frame doesn't look horrible either.

Brings back memories! As a kid in the late '60s, We used to cruise a friend's '46 coupe. It was yellow, with a 322 nailhead Buick in it, along with a topshift trans. On the rear fenders he lettered "Hanky Panky". He is gone now, but those were good times!

    Sorry about the "flashback". :-)

As far as the chassis goes....I think I can save it....the front end looks like possibly an old corvair setup.....that will have to go!!.....but he told me it's only bolted in, so that's a good sign!
