    here is one like your car matt? 49/50 chevy 4 door this was my dads and had a dodge red ram in it see if i can find the engine photo

    yep the 51-52 front fenders and grill and the rear quarters are not the same as 49-50 doors hood trunk lid and roof line bumpers are the same 49-52 i have friends that have a 51 and 52 chevys

    The tail panel is diffrent also.. because the '51/'52 has the Fins

    lol.. no I'm not being picky.. I actully group the '49-'52's togther. 1/2 the diffrences that there are, are not noticible unless you look at both cars side by side really carefully.. grilles and dashboard are all that really stand out as diffrent too me.. and I cannot tell a '49-'50 apart.. that small grill detail is the only diffrence, and I know I can spot them apart, if there side by side, but cannot tell which year is which, don't know which grill is for which year car..

    And as for the fins.. I know they are not as prominant on the coupes and styleline sedans.. but the Fleetline, they are more prominant because the fast back ends lower than the 1/4's, giving it the finned look..

    well i know my 49-50? the 49 has more small teeth uprights in the grill and a turn handle on the truck lid. the 50 has NO teeth in the bottom row of the grill and the 50 has a pull up handle on the trunk and has the spears on it looks like a T. this week i will have had my 50 chevy for 30 years

    No pics of direct family but this is father in law about the age of 10 he is 77 now . Maybe a little lead on the sedan i have .
