Mike, I hadn't notice that you are from Lutz. I have relatives and friends (all rodders) in Tampa, Land of Lakes, Dade City, and a few in your neighborhood. I plan on being down that way in November for some turkey and the turkey run.Bob
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

Bob, it's a small world. Technically my address is Lutz, but I feel like I'm part of Land O' Lakes, I'm a stone's throw from I-75. I should get you to introduce me to some of your rodding buddies, I'm sure I'll be needing some help when I start my Deuce project.....

I'm using the hotel computer here at NSRA Burlington, VT so maybe this wont go through!! (Lots of nice cars so far with more coming based on the ones I DIDN'T see at the show earlier)
I did my on-line Grundy application on Friday about noon and got the standard automated response back that I'd hear from them in a few days. About an hour later I got the email paper work to fill out and send them with my $315 check. They include an under 25 disclaimer and want two photos - no big deal. Of course they'll do a check on my record, but it's cleanSo - next week, I'll drop the car off the jacks (not a good thing for and ins. company to see a car on jackstands!!) take my pictures and send off my money.

The first model car I built was a 32 Ford roadster by Revell in the mid 50's.
