Or unfortunately, in another country....
Good luck getting it back, though I'm betting it may already be in pieces. You built a great car, the radiused wheelwells make me think of my old '63 Nova bracket racer.
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

Just wanted to make a post.
As it turns out the library across the street has a security camera. They filmed the whole theft taking place.
They have told us it is two men, one larger and one about normal size, and they are in a dark SUV (like a Tahoe).
They could not get the plate number because of the angle of the Tahoe when they were hooking up to the trailer.
There are some other very good information we cannot disclose at this time, but it is a very good lead. We actually have them on film stealing the trailer, with the car inside of it. So, we have a FACE! (actually two)
We are also trying to get the video released. If we can we may be able to post the video for everyone on earth to see how they did this. Being that the trailer was hooked up to an F250 when it was stolen took some thought on how to get it unhooked and moved away from that truck so they could hook it up to the Tahoe.
We are still very much after these criminals and I personally appreciate everyone's help so far on this. I am determined to find these thieves!Steve

Thanks Barb,
Well we are certainly still looking.
I really think once the perps know we have them and their faces on video, they will start to make mistakes.
There were a lot of nostalgia races this weekend and no one seems to have seen anything so we are hoping it is still in one piece. We do know the odds are against us, but we are still hopefull.Steve

Steve I feel for you.You know I 35 South is the hot spot for these Idiots. I would keep check on all the cities South to the border on craigs list.I'll bet it is in pieces by now. There are chop shops in Austin that have been shut down, but it is such a hot and big business ,others just pick up and keep it going.I'll keep my eyes open here in Austin. A list of parts might help the effort. Good Luck.Don D

There is no telling where the car will turn up at. I just think that if we keep this fresh in everyones mind it will surface, especially now that we can post we have pictures of thier faces stealing the car.

I had thought of that, but I do not know how to do it.Steve

If you have the video, see if your local TV stations will run it, and offer a reward. SOMEONE will turn them in, even if it is a relative.........money is thicker than blood sometimes. If the police ask the TV stations to do it they usually will, and may even do it for you too.
Hope you get it back and the scumbags get what is coming to them too.
