    remote fill master cylinders

I'm looking at possibly a remote fill master cylinder in my 32 chassis, and I've only got 7" of room lengthwise for the M/C. Anyone familiar with remotes or have any year/make ideas? Using disk front and drum rear, no booster.

I used a remote fill master cylinder from a Mazda RX7.
Not sure which model coz I picked it out of a brake parts book.
    Was cheap too.
    7/8 bore and 1&1/8 stroke.
Only problem I had was finding the bango fittings for the brake lines.
    Bye for now,
    Brett.

    Master cylinder woes..........Again/still!

Hey Viking! Thanks again! I know, I know, but the more I looked at what I'm working with the more I thought about a remote setup, cuz I've got a bit of a height problem too with part of the tube cross member right above the M/C. That looks like a pretty cool setup, and Bcal's idea sounds good too! I really appreciate the help guys - it's good to be able to come here and get good answers!

I just found this on my HD.
If you look real close you can see the RX7 MS mounted to the xmember. Total height including flange was a little over 3".
In the end tho I mounted it on the firewall for easier access.
    Bye for now,
    Brett.

    G'day Larry (I assume it's Larry),
Sorry to shock you like that.
I posted the same pic to the hamb once and one guy want to know what the F #$% happened to my gearbox.

Saw your ad on page 85 of the latest issue.
Good idea these tops. Mine comes off as one piece and it's a real will I or won't I while I scan the sky for threatening clouds.
Haven't been caught yet but one day it's gonna happen.

If you get ASR over there keep you eye out over the next few months for a feature on a trick little roadster .
    Bye for now,
    Brett.

Yep, it's Larry. My pal's name down there is Chris Leskie - he bought that top complete off my roadster when I decided to go to a white one, and put it on his steel roadster. (mine's a Wescott body). Check out our website at www.topsters.com and see what we have! My roadster's the black one on the website with the red and white interior. I'll keep an eye out for that cool roadster in the next issues, Chris sends me up copies! Take care! Larry

    Trying to buy a M/C!!!!??

Yo Viking! Well I've sent those guys three E-mails now asking which size they would recommend for my application and that I wanted to order one, but do you think I can get a reply!? What does a guy have to do to spend money!!! Funny, I sent an E-mail to Wilwood asking them.......................and the guy that answered said there was only one of the model I wanted and it was $119.95, and on that race car site they list about 8 diferent sizes and they're all $67.50!!?? Hmmmm, sometimes aftermarket people drive me crazy!!!
