suspension replacement
I need advice!
I have a 1950 Chevy P/U I'm In process of restoring.
I am putting a 350 and auto trans. locker spool rear end and new wiring , gauges etc.
My big desicion is FRONT END.
I want power steering, and power brakes.
Should I build up my straight axle, Buy an aftermarket suspension like Fat man MS 2 or is there a front clip from another car or truck I could fit under it. I have a 70 camaro front clip but it is to wide and I dont want to have to narrow.
THANKS for any suggestions

Cool Running - The Camaro that has it's steering box in front of the x-member is an excellent IFS for your chevy trk. I have done this swap many times & it is perfect. You have to be carefull not to get the car setting tooo low.....measure carefully.......DonDon Meyer, PhD-Mech Engr(48 GMC Trk/chopped/cab extended/caddy fins & a GM converted Rolls Royce Silver Shadow).
Thanks guys! One more trip around the sun completed. Lots of blessings and things to be thankful for (like still being able to type this message!!) Here's to us "over 70 guys.." Glenn
