I walked by the backdraft setup, they had some nice looking stuff. Did you see the mach 5 replica? I walked maybe 1/8 of the swapmeet and it looked like the same vendors in the same spots, but there was a few model a bodies around 2 grand though.

I like the Ford F1 truck with the "tomatar" face? Any idea where I can get a set of those lips and eyes for my truck?" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

My brother in law, my nephew, a family friend and I went down on Saturday. It was a little different than the last time I went (2004?) but mostly the same. Seemed like a lot more food vendors than in previous years, all too expensive (we packed). Saw about 3/4 of the swap meet vendors before my feet gave out, and saw none of the inside vendors.
Found Don's car (parked in the road) and also Don Jr's blue T. Both were parked in the HAMB area. Never did get to meet Don or Jr, but did get to meet a few fellow HAMBers. Saw a helluva lot of really nice cars, both slick and trad. All in all it was a good day. Would have been nice to have been there all four days but just not in the cards for this year, maybe next year. I took a bunch of photo's and will post a link when I get them uploaded to photobucket.Bob
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!
The first model car I built was a 32 Ford roadster by Revell in the mid 50's.
How did you get hooked on cars?
