    Don Jr.

If you decide to build a Milner Coupe, there is a company here in La. that makes a chopped 5 window body and the bobbed rear fenders. Heres a link:

    http://www.russnomorestreetrods.com/

There is another place in the northeast that repops the bodies, rear bumper and most of the chassis hardware. I'm at work, and I can't remember the name of the other company, but I think I have it on my computer at home.

I aggree about correcting some of the original's flaws. It was a movie car and more about "the look" than real driveability. A little chassis tweaking would go a long way without killing the feel of the original.

    Hope you do it!

    Mike,
Thank you for the link. Their body looks very good and the price is not bad at all. I was considering building the chassis first and then purchasing the body when I was ready for it. I have always wanted to do it. What better time than now i suppose Life is short!

Pops, the guy to blame for the "sickness" stares you in the mirror every morning!

Hot Rod Daddy the "mr Blue" T is on its way to your house as we speak! I removed the engine though for your own protection!

Mike, Thank you for the link. It seems like their parts are real quality pieces. A great resource. I did not know they existed. They even carry a very accurate rear nerf bar!

    Thaks again,

Thanks to a very generous Gastrick, Santa was able to fix Don up with the second ingredient for his Milner clone. I drove over to Bills house last weekend and surprised Don with the intake setup. Don was wondering why Bill hadn't sent him the pictures he promised, but Bill and I had made a side deal.

Ok, now you have the shift knob and carbs......... time to start building !

Very nice set up! With that intake and $30,000, you could build a nice car!

Seriously, I hope you do it.

    Best of luck.

I bet Dan and Don have more than a few parts lying around to keep costs down, not to mention the fabrication skills to do all the right personal touches to the car! Now it will be which project to start! T-bird or.. the five window.

You are exactly right! This should be a great build to watch. This crew is fast too, so I wouldn't expect it to take very long either!

Thanks guys, I don't know how fast we are, but this one should be pretty easy fabrication wise. Reproduction Deuce frames are the way to go with this one and even if we just go with siderails and add crossmembers it won't be like building a totally new frame from scratch. As for the T Bird, talk is that it will be going on Craigs list, things are just too crowded as they are, plus Don will be immersed in his dream Deuce for a while.

One nice thing..........everything for a '32 is SO CHEAP. (Hey, it isn't my bank account, I'm just the Cheerleader on this one. )

    going for it

The tbird went on Craigslist this morning in and effort to free up space for my Duece build! Once it sells I am going to start getting my spot in the shop ready for the new build. Reproduction frame rails should cut some time out of the project (along with Dan's welding skills) and of course all of Pops help. You only live once. Might as well make this dream come true. dad is a bad influence to be sure! (always has been)
