What was your favorite Christmas gift?

I'll start this early because I know a lot of peole do Christmas over several days. We did ours with our kids last night. My wife knows how I much I like the old 60's TV series so she got me the complete box set of The Fugitive with David Jansen. I watch a few of them late last night; talk about a great show with some cool looking old cars! What was everyone elses' favorite?

My very first "all my own" tool box!!!! I was 14 years old, got it from my Dad. It was one of the red 10 drawer top chests...best thing was, it had a whole bunch of new tools in it and Dad said it was all mine and I didn't even have to share it with my brothers!!!!!

I'd agree with Dave that my first craftsman tool box loaded with my tools is up there on the list(I was 16 and still use them every day). Also upon reflexion, those funny knitted slippers from Grandma. Always kept our feet warm and they were made with love!

My favorite present will be knowing my grandkids ages 6 and 8, will be waking up to an actual real Xmas for the 1st time in my house, Verses the ones they always got at the traveling crack houses they lived in before. And the kicker is they can actually keep thier toys for once. Before that it was the bright orange schwinn 10 speed in 1974.

    Christmas

Being a kid growing up in the 1950's times were pretty simple compared to now. My family owned toy and hobby shops and everyone in the family worked hard "seven days a week" during the season leading up to Christmas Eve.

My dad made me a deal one year, I would guess my age at about six or seven. I could "pick my own" christmas gift(s), but I had to carry them out the door in just five minutes. Well after a little thought and planning a route. I "started" with a Radio Flyer wagon, and "filled" it up.

Needless to say, THE RULE CHANGED for the next year, LOL.

    Best wishes to all.

As a kid, remote control road race set - I think it was a 1:24 scale. Bigger than the Aurora HO scale. Just a figure eight but me and my brother ran those cars into the ground. Today, I got a gift of me car (sort of) A Goodguys picture in a frame. Been over two years since she was last running.
