Black's about the cheapest and longest lasting color you can buy. Maby I will go black with traditional flames. I was also thinking about a silver grey maby, my mom once had a 69' Opel Gt and it was silver grey with red interior and she said it looked good but, I dont want it to look GOOD, I want it to look HOT.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Umm, Christmas car, Ya. Just kiddin but my interior is red so it would seem a little christmasy. It would look good with black or tan interior but the black Mercedes put out is hard to find and the tan is tan orange. I'm keeping my eye out for a parts car with black interior though. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

I don't know yet but, I may not have enough funding for the Benz this year and, I will be looking at a 59 Chevy Impala and a 68 Camero. If ither are cheap enough I will buy one and fix it and sell it next year for funding for the Benz project. This could give me more expierence to. I may also look at a 71' Dodge Demon in Athens for $750 that needs body work. I'm not certine yet though. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

I been thinkin, I will still do the Benz but I will do it next year, I do not have the money this year. for this year I want an older car, pre 1975. I want a car with a posi and a 4 speed. I really want a musclecar. I want the 68 camero I may have a chance at, I may be able to get a 47 Chevy 2 dr, or the 71 Demon. I may also get the 59' Impala but that's my moms dream car really. all ot the cars I just listed need work and are not # matching so I would be able to make it my own car without having to worry about it's origionalness. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

The Benz needs to much work right now, and all the parts needed are expenisive. It needs new sunroof gasket $80, all door seals $67 each, the tail lights need work as all do not come on. This is on top of the cost of repowering it which would drain me with just that. I'm not watin round for money for door seals for 1 year just so i could drive it the next year. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Hello folks I am new here, but I thought I would add what I have, I have a 78 mercedes 240 with a small block ford "early high compression 302" anyhoo its a tough job and I am looking into a subframe swap to make it a better one because the ford engine knocks up against the steering box there is other problems but this is quite a mod to take on.

oops I forgot to mention the reason I am looking into a frame swap is because I want a small block chevy......
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
