Pic of my 1983 Mercedes Benz 240d
I finally got pictures to load onto the site, I had to compress the picture bigtime though so quality is a little low.Last edited by Matt167; 01-26-2004 at 06:20 PM.

Ive always been a fan of stuffing american iron between the rails of foreign cars. Didnt you say you were planning on putting a chevy mill in it in the future?"its better to rule in hell, than serve in heaven."

That's correct, In fact the near future. I will be stuffing a chevy 350 in it. I will start the conversion on saturday, april 17. This is the weekend after the weekend Hunter Mountian ( where I'm employed ) shuts down, It will be my first free weekend.Last edited by Matt167; 01-26-2004 at 06:09 PM.

After Hunter shuts down I'v got every weekend free until November or december 2004 when Hunter Mountian reopens for the 2004-2005 season. If putting that car togther in one weekend was possible i would be amazed and suprised. You may have missunderstood me when I said this was my first free weekend. april 15 2004 is the end of Ski season and april 17 2004 is for me, the start of Car building season which will end when the mountian reopens and the course repeats.Last edited by Matt167; 01-26-2004 at 06:30 PM.

Do you know where to get information on putting Chevy power into a MB? I have a 450sl that I would love to swap a 350 into.

Anyone who realises the merit of a V8 in a 4dr car is OK in my book. But, can you change the lights? maybe a mean looking pair of square bulbs? just my thought.Right engine, Wrong Wheels

Those ricers are crappy. There is no talant in building them into a tuner, you just glue some vynals to it and vwala, you got a fart can tuner. V8 chevy is the only way to go.
Crazy? I like it.Last edited by Matt167; 01-27-2004 at 07:31 PM.

With the mild and reliable power you are putting in it it would make a killer sleeper on the street.
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
