27 T tudor Hot Rod build
I haven't been on here in a long time and never posted pictures of my current build. Which is a 27 T sedan that I have had for about three years now. I haven't done much work to it yet just mainly collecting parts and ideas.
It will be my first hot rod build but not my first car build.
Here are some pictures of what I have done so far which includes cowel patch panels, filling the gas outlet hole on the firewall, and fitting in a fiberglass dash that required additional fiberglass to be laid down.
Hope everyone enjoys the progress pictures and keep an eye out on this thread as I hope to keep it updated throughout the build.

Thanks!
I am planning a Hi-boy on a model A frame. Chevy 350 dressed to look like a 265 with saginaw 4 speed (wish I had a T-10)
I want a hot rod and don't want to go the rat rod route. Just not my style

Sounds good to me. If I remember correctly all of the early 265's had stagger mounted valve covers and if I also remember correctly the best stock heads for those valve covers were '57 Fuelie heads.Ken Thomas

It has been awhile since I posted any progress but it finally is spring in Ohio and I am able to work on the car again.
Last week I got the model A frame disasembled and started to put it back together. I welded in a new front crossmember and I tacked the rear crossmember 3 inches higher and 5 inches further back. I still need to fabe some gussets for the kickup.
Since it is warm outside now, I should be able to post some progress pics of some sort at least once a week. Also since this is my first build if anyone has any tips or notices me doing something wrong or unsafe throughout my build please let me know.

Well here is the progress from last week. A little bit of boxing was done 18inches altogether from the front crossmember, thinking of leaving the horns un-boxed. The engine mounts are tacked in so I can measure for an x member and body mounts. I also got the front of the cars brake lines bent, flared, and plumbed, which is not pictured but isnt anything special to see.
Dont know if I'll get anything done this week but well see.

Looking good. I love the dual quad set up. Looks like a matched pair. I had a set on a 265 I had in a 36 5 window many moons ago. What you need now now is an old Isky 30/30 cam.Ken Thomas

But listen Clyd, next time you rob a bank park your ride around the corner.
It keeps every one from knowing what kind of car you drive and cuts way

It's been quite a while since I saw a set of Corvette valve covers used on a rod! They were always my favorites.
Looks like you are taking the time to make it a solid car. Nice work.

Thank you everyone for the encouraging words. Unfortunately I cant take credit for the engine. It is my Dads and it is just in there for mock up but I did put the valve covers and intake on there just to see what it would look like. I wish I could use this setup but money would not allow me to at this point.
NTFDAY, your 36 sounds like it was one sweet ride. It must have been a fun one to drive.
Kind of a funny story about my dads dual quad. He is big into ebay since he retired and just looks for car parts. He found this one listed wrong and won it at the starting bid of $18. It was just the intake so he is piecing together the carbs.
Kurt, I know I should of parked the car somewhere safer. I destroyed the evidence with the new patch panel now.
Steve and 35FordCoupe, wait until I dive into the build more. It seems like the whole car is built around sheetmetal patch panels lol
Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
