Barn find: 1928 1/2 Chevy Cabriolet
I've located a 1928 1/2 Chevy Cabriolet ( roll up windows) that has been buried under a pile of junk for nearly 40 years.
It might be a 60's hot rod as the old timer says it's a solid rust free body with a 283 - 3 speed & Hurst shifter. He said it ran when he parked it.
I'd like to make him a reasonable offer. I usually use the ads in Hemmings as a guide for value unfortunately here's only one '28 Chevy listed at $19K.
I'm think'n of offering in the 3-5K range.

Not yet as it is still buried so bad that you wouldn't even know it's there.

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
