Been down this road before, haven't we?? I like a good sounding exhaust; the loud part is just cake. I get a grin from driving along the rows of a parking lot or garage at just off idle and hearing the weeniemobiles chirp and wail. When we got wifey's first fancy car with all the bells and whistles, it set up a ruckus in the drive when I pulled in with my pickup next to it. Only ever had one real complaint from a neighbor, but she didn't like my truck just on general principles it seemed; one time, she reported it as an abandoned vehicle, not an hour after I got home from work. Most of the neighbors said "yeah, your pipes are loud, but at least we know when you're coming or leaving".
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
