My car is mucho loud with no problems so far. I think it has a lot to do with how you present yourself and what you are doing besides the noise to gain attention.
Live everyday like it were your last, someday it will be.

both cars are loud but sound goodwell i think ... i had a cop pull up to me at a light in the chevy yelling at me boy that car is LOUD i said no its not that bad.he look at me rev up the cop car and spun the back tires like i was going to race him
so far so good i ask a cop why they did not crack down on bikes with just drag pipes ?why are you going after me .they are a hell of alot louder then my cars

I have baffles in mine that drop it a few decibels, but it is still not as quiet as if it had mufflers. On the other hand, my Son Don is running his Limefires wide open, and has driven it all over with no problems............and that baby is LOUD!(like dragstrip, pulling to the line loud). I hate to pull into a car show behind him because the crowd parts as he drives through, and my car sounds like a Yugo comparatively.
They keep telling me to take my baffles out, but I like the tone better than when I had it wide open.
If I ever get stopped I think I'll just use the biker's adage......"Loud pipes save lives!"

I wore a camouflage T-shirt once. The response in the pub was "Oooh, it's a floating head!" .
