Do you know this southwestern rod?

An old friend has this car, but has never found all of the history on it.

It has been in northern and central arizona for many years.

It has a 'glass body, smallblock Chevy power, and Jag suspension on both ends.

Lettered on the car is "Cliff Anderson & Son '79".

Anyone? Even if you've seen it in your area in the past, it may give us a clue about where it originated.

This is just a WAG, but the "Anderson" clicked a switch. There was a guy from Tucson named "Crazy Larry" Anderson. He might have been the "son" lettered on the car. Take a photo of the car over to Don's Hot Rod Shop and ask Donnie if he knows anything about it. He may also have some contact info for Tom Canaan (not sure of spelling, but pronounced K-nun). Tom was good friends with Larry before Larry pulled 42 years in the grey-bar hotel for drug dealing and so Tom may know something about the car. Crazy Larry was waaaaaaay deep into hot rods and drag racing. I chassis certed his car (funny car/altered depending on body used) back in the early 90's. I might also take the photo out to SIR during a drag meet and show it around.

I know Donnie, and will check with him. There was a Tom Kohenan, (Performance Engine and Machine) that built racing engines here for years.
