Got the cooling issues fixed, there was an old red shop rag stuck down in the top tank. Been driving it around watching for bugs, so far so good.

Kewl project! I read earlier where you thought it would sit lower, doesn't look like the suspension settled much.... Any plans to lower the car a bit????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

The front is about where I want it but the rear needs to drop about 1 1/2". I will fill the fuel tank and drive it a week or two and see if it settles any.Tired Iron Military Vehicle Club

Amazing! Excellent work! I am hoping you can save the original upholstery somehow but it may be subject to dry rot? Anyway it is very interesting to see the original. Probably there are good restoration mohair kits available but the blue cloth is very interesting if it is original.

Wow! Just Wow! Nice work. I like the use of old and new. The engine looks to be one mean street machine. Like all of the above comments the theatre style seating is the bomb! Everything about it is cool. Those rolled bumpers are fantastic and the old spare is an excellent touch. Are the floors in back old wood planks? If so even better!" 66 days, I got the car on March 8 and didn't touch it for two weeks (March 22). Took it for the first drive on May 27. I was also gone to Branson (25th Anniversary) for a week during that time.Tired Iron Military Vehicle Club

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
