1st post, my 1948 anglia project
well im in the process of painting the 1948 english ford anglia and i thought i would start a progress thread.
im probably going to spray it DSG ( Dark Shadow Grey) and ill be adding pics as i move along. should have it done in less than 3 weeks
stripped the rest of the paint yesterday and started knocking her down with 80 ( found that 10 coats 60 year old paint comes off better with 36 ) this evening. my old man has been messing with it during the day and has her running like a top, tap the key and she purrs like a kitten.
please excuse my dirty "old" garage
looks like an imperial walker from the front, lol
spartan interior is dusty from sanding.
ram horn exhaust manifolds will be getting blasted and coated
M/T valve covers will get re-finished sooner or later
what it looked like when my dad retired it and turned it to a street car back in the late 70's
and the next project dad and I going to do is my dads first car.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

I really like that Hudson. Looks like you have a couple of good projects.
