I found a company online last year that makes an adaptor for a TH 350 but it was pretty pricy. I think about $800 just for the adaptor plate. Ask someone on the P15 D24 website, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

the original trans he has is the Prestomatic fluid drive and is as automatic as they got for Mopars until '53.. auto trans but it uses a fluid coupling and a clutch, and a series of switches, points, solonoids and relays ( in short, an electrical nightmare ) to control fluid preassure and shifts... I have the '53 Motors manual ( actully just looked all that up ), and the only other trans option was a 3spd stick, and an optional overdriveYou don't know what you've got til it's gone

The tranny he has, you only need to use the clutch to take off in 1st gear then you can shift to 2nd and 3rd without using the clutch and you can stop the car with out pushing in the clutch
Happy really late birthday Mike! Lol
