Boise Members
66 y/o C/H member from Puget Sound is coming to Boise Sept. 3-7 and would like to meet some local Hot Rodders. I am current working on a 34 Ford 3/W and would be interested in seeing some rods in the 30s-40s. PM me for contact data.
P.S. Looking to relocate to Boise in 2-3 years.
Jack.

No Boise members?
Either we have no Boise members on CHR or they don't want anyone from Wa.St. to invade their territory.

Rich,
I lived there for 33 years, was born and raised there. I couldn't move back if I wanted, which I don't, because of the taxes and home prices. One thing they haven't screwed up though is liquor sales and thats the only thing I can think of.

More than a month since the last post and still no Boise replies. I guess I will have to move there if for no other reason than to just get some posts from Boise.

Hi Jack,I think your family is more important to be near especially if your have grand children to watch and be apart of their growing up. And heck when you move to Boise, you will probably start a mass move from other CHR members to the area when their hear how lovely an area it is.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Jack, as you probably know, Boise is a very nice area, elevation is only about 2400 ft so the winters are usually quite mild.
There's a lot of hot rod activity there plus an exceptional drag strip.
Everybody I know that lives there seems to really like it.

Hi Whip,
Grand daughter in Boise is 23 this month but still has a little growing up to do. Moving to the boise area is more to get out of tax crazy Wa. St. Having daughter there is just a bonus.
Mick,
Have been there several times since daughter moved over and love the summers. We understand the winters are a bit colder than Puget Sound but not nearly as much rain.
