Almost ready for primer .....
...... the majority of the body work is finished ...... into the final cleanup of the door jams etc. ......... have a few areas on the front body "wings" that will require fiberglass to support the paper-thin metal ........ rear panel is ready for final block sanding ..... the guys did a beautiful job of blending the rear panel into the curves of the rear quarters .......... the TH-350 has been totally rebuilt and the case has been cleaned and is ready for paint ......... the engine is in final internal assembly and hopefully we will have it ready for paint next week ......... I'll try to get pictures of it soon

Been a long slog John, but looks like you're closin' in on her.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

Okay, you've got me curious. Is the paint going to be anything that will remind us of those glorious days of the Gassers? Flake? ....psychedelic art? ....gold leaf lettering? .....or ? Seems like a natural for something connected to the Shroyer's Shaker or other well known racers!

He's going to be candy blue over a gold flake base .......... don't know if there will be any lettering on the sides but we could possibly see "Bad Brit" in gold leaf on him somewhere ............. would love to use a blower, but the cost and cooling restrictions are ruling that out, mainly the cost ........... so we're going with this induction
........ with those velocity stacks sticking through the hood and the nasty lope of the new cam ......... along with the 44" chrome wheelie bars and Simpson Skyjacker drag chute on the rear ........ I don't thing many people will try calling him out on Main Street

That will work! :-)~
The staggered velocity stacks were always cool! They are more unusual than a blower, and they were typically a big block setup, which says "horsepower"! I think I would choose them over the blower, as far as "image".
