Finally in Primer ..........
........ after all these months of sheet metal fabrication and replacement, the Thames body is finally in primer .......... the new door jams, rain gutters, and other small parts look great ........... now on to block sanding and media blasting the cab doors (steel) and rear doors (aluminum) ........ will also work on cleaning up a lot of the chassis welds

Looking at your very smooth roof makes me remember my Thames that I had in 1966-67. Man that was a very long time ago.
Any way, I made some "aluminum bows" for the roof and then made an aluminum panel to fill the roof insert hole. Well you guessed it I used about "a million" 1/8" pop rivets to attach it to the body. So, who ever has that very straight, rust free body now, you can cuss at me for drilling all of those little holes around the roof, LOL. Yes, even the aluminum rear doors were nice (well at least they were over fourty years ago).
Nice job on the body work.

Wish we had started with something as nice as what you described ......... here's what we started with
had to cut it out and start all over
We too built "crossbows" to support the roof, but ours were fabricated from steel
Roof was fabricated out of sheet steel and welded into place
Our quarters below the beltline were just a pocked mess
so we had to fabricate new quarters, wheel tubs, and fender flairs
glad all that work is finished
Getting closer on this project. What a lot of work!
