It's alive!
Got the Model A running. Thanks everyone who answered my questions.
Had major prob with a newedlebrock carb on engine start. Swapped for Holley 700 dbl pump. Got rid of vac leak at manifold (thank you Summit for doing a defect return more than a year after purchase). Holley dbl pump had a bad off idle hesitation. Larger squirtter did not help. Blocking squirtter did. Took Hooley off got a used 600 Edlebrock off Craigs list. Bolted on and was good to go to NSRA Nationals 6 hour drive. Car is too loud to drive long distance even with Dynamat installed. Working on changing mufflers again (from Dyamax and Magnaflows to ?"Chance favors the prepared mind"
Car Cruisin spectator remark about my suede paint :

In our neighborhood, 2 blocks down the hill was a gas station that (to me) all the cool car guys hung out there. 32 coupes, 33 & 34 Fords as well, a sweet 56 Ford Beach wagon that was setup gasser...
How did you get hooked on cars?
