    9 inch for 57 chevy

     



    I have heard you guys talk about rear ends out of Fords (9 inch) that fits other cars (57 chevy) that dont need to be cut. does anybody know what ford I would be looking for. Thanks

    68 mustang was what i used

    57 - 59 Ford. These are 57 1/4 wide, don't know how they match up to the 57 scrub. No matter what Ford rear you use, you may have to relocate the spring pads.

    57 was to short you need about 60

    I don't remember where I got this from, but it may answer your needs; all are flange to flange:

    60 inch wide:
    '67 Cougar
    '58 - '60 Edsel

    61 inch wide:
    '64 - '71 full size

    61.25 inch wide:
    '57 - '72 pickup
    '60 - '64 fullsize
    '71 - '73 Mustang
    '67 - 73 Fairlane, Ranchero, Torino

    63 inch wide:
    '70 - '79 Ranchero, Torino
    '72 - '81 fullsize and intermediates.
    Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.

    Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.
