as in mostly hotrods,, mostly fords ,, or too many pinto`s .. iv`e had about 8 over the years

Currently I'm getting my daughters 1948 Chevy 4 Door ready for her, the Body is as SOLID as it was new, Rust Free, I'm gonna sit it onto a 79 Caprice Frame with 250 Inline 6, with Turbo 350 Transmission,..looking for a 2 or 3Carb Intake and 48 Radiator if anyone has this stuff sitting aorund.

10. 66 Ford F100 shortbed styleside custom cab - 352v8, auto, original California truck. It's my current daily driver. Drinks a lot of gas but it's great fun!

I got my first car when I was nineteen (1965).. a 1951 Cadillac Fleetwood that my folks bought new in San Antonio.. I grew up in that ca, even dated my wife-to-be in that car.
Second car was a POS 1959 Opal Record. Rebuilt the engine ($500) and sold it for fifty.
My third car came as a result of selling the second.. my wife of five months noticed this mean, black, low-slung, convert with a hood that was half the length of the car.. a 1953 Jaguar XK120 DropHead Coupe.. I paid $300 for it.. had to borrow $250 from my new Mother-in-law! Years later, I learned only 1471 XK120 DHC's were built in LHD (1765 total). I still own that Jag.
My fourth car was my first new car, a 1970 Datsun 510 Station Wagon. I still own that car,
My fifth car was my second and last new car, a 1974 Toyota LandCruiser. In 1979 I pulled the POS Sick Cylinder engine and fitted a 1967 429cid Cadillac V-8 & TH400. I still own that car.
My sixth car was a 1973 Jaguar XJ-6 Ser I. I paid $3500 for it, drove it for eight years and sold it for $3500. I wish I still had that car.
I inherited the next three cars from my Mom.. a 1973 Chevy Chevelle Laguna (350/350) that I gave to my nephew, after he had it for a year, I got it back and gave it to my son. I also gave him the 1971 Volvo P-1800E Sports Car with the B-20 Engine. and I still have the 1977 Mercury Marquis 2dr (with the 351M.. 400cid engine)
In 1992, I bought the tenth car I've ever owned.. a 1962 Volvo 122S 4dr "Sport Sedan" (aka Amazon). It is my daily driver. I call it my "Energizer Bunny" because it just keeps going and going.. and goes at 29mpg and is capable of speeds in excess of 100mph (I've had it to "just touching" 120mph on the meter).. It's as solid as a rock. The crappy alcohol in the gas has caused a power loss and the mileage has fallen off (like it has in ALL my pre-emission cars) to 24mpg..
I did buy an eleventh car.. a 1965 Volvo 122S Two Door.. for $50.
That is the sum total of the cars I've owned in forty-four years.
