I did not get to meet Steve and Sue while they were here in Fort Myers, but had the opportunity to meet them both in Daytona. Two of the nicest people you will ever meet! As they said, talking to them was like talking to old friends and it was interesting that they had never had pumpkin pie before!!
Of course Steve kept busting my chops about my weight, but I kept telling him I had actually lost weight (Picture below)
Great meeting you both. Don Jr (AKA Lil Don)Don Jr.

It was the strangest thing Perley. I parked the car the night before and it was fine. Sue and I jumped in for a little ride and we got about 1/2 mile and it died as we were rolling along. I restarted it but now it had a suspension shake at very low speeds, so we limped on home.
Dan found one heim end jam nut was backed off on the front tie rod, and I bumped my tire pressure up to 32 lbs on the front from about 26, and the car ran smoother than ever. In fact, during the whole 12 hour drive to and from Daytona last week it drove like it never has. I one-handed it at 70 mph over all kinds of ruts and it ran straight, never missing a beat.
I've renamed it Christine.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
