    Smile Magazines for soldiers.

    Hey all,
I am currently deployed overseas in Kosovo with the national guard and thought I would throw this out there. Do you guys have any unwanted car, bike or 4wd magazines laying around? If you do. New or old. Feel free to take them to the post office and ship them in a flat rate box. Saying it is for the Military to
    SPC Bender, Terry J.
    TF Defender, C co. 2nd platoon KFOR12
    APO, AE 09340

Any care packages are appreciated. Baked goods are always good. Powdered drinks like powerade. I will do my best to send everyone thank you cards. If anyone has children or anyone who wants to write, feel free to end soldiers letters. They can be addressed to me and I will find pen pals for them if I can.

    Thanks a lot you guys.

Oh, by the way. The Military Flat rate boxes are free I believe.

We could also use school supplies for a school we are sponsoring here if anybody wants to send them. Mainly pencils and notebooks, drawing pads, markers etc. And sports equipment like balls and stuff like that.

Terry 99% of all my mags are hotrod type mags w/some Hot VW mags thrown in & I have more then enough to send your way. Would a few hundred mags work for you??? I can send a box or two out every week or so...Joe

    Smile Sports Illustrated?

Hi - I work at a church in Camden, SC and just got a call from a lady wanting to send some Sports Illustrated magazines to soldiers. So, I did a search, saw your post, & joined this site (which is kind of comical for me), so I could reach you! Would you like me to give her your address posted on this site last month? Is it still current?

I may start a service project in January for soldiers. We ask our students to bring in donations for the troops. Could we send donations to your unit? There are lots of people willing to donate and it is hard to do so unless you have a soldier's name. Let me know if we can help.

Thanks to this site for giving me the chance to make this connection!

Are there any more names we can send magazines too?
Is there a way we can send packages to a company in general?

Everyone, This so easy to do.
Pickup a prepaid box at the post office and a form for customs.
I went to anysoldier.com and they had some helpful hints, but it is easy.
Just don't send home cooked goodies.

Thanks you guys. The only thing I request is we do not really need hygene since we have
easy access to that stuff. Send that stuff to our men and women in iraq or afganistan.
