For you it would be a shorter trip than for most....
Soooo, I take off on a road trip away from the 'puter for several days and it's pile on time huh?
Well I can't let our Kiwi mates down.
You guys may have heard that Pops is currently unemployed, but fear not, we caught a pic of him on his way to a job interview.......he should be a shoo in! Notice he's got his favorite colors on........... I thought the man purse was an especially stylish accessory...........he's such a clothes horse!Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

"Road trip, road trip ?" Well, I guess running down to the store for smokes in your car COULD be considered a road trip. At least have the decency to put your shirt on Bob.

PS: I didn't get that job BTW. They said I was overdressed or something like that, but I think it was age discrimination personally. (and it isn't a purse, it's a Manbag)Last edited by Itoldyouso; 06-28-2010 at 08:41 AM.

Welcome back from your looooong road trip Uncle Bob, where are the photos and running dialogue on the big trip???
That photo of your latest project is a good one,but one would have to be careful throwing the man bag into it as the sills (rockers) panels look really strong.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Well Whiplash, Bob is a little down right now. His roadtrip took him to his heros home town in Connecticut, only to find out he doesn't live there any more. Something about they rode him out of town on a rail.

Thanks Brick. Lord knows that is just .0000000001 of a payback to Bob for the "cutie collection" he has adorned my threads with over the years. I still wonder where he comes up with them.........coincidence, I think not.

That's pretty good Bob. I have to admit, even I am a little disappointed in some of the things he has done. I guess history will tell.

Now tell us fellas from the lower half, is that sign for real, " Apology for allowing George W Bush for been born in there state??" And I am not into politics and just follow it as an interest, but I don't think I would like to be an elected member of government over there. I do like the new spread though and what price does it sell for on the shelves???I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Oh, we Americans have come a long way. We used to hang Public Officials we didn't like, now we are much more civilized. Connecticut had the choice of either apologizing or we were going to give the State back to England.

I believe the concert in question was in Europe....don't think a lot of those folks voted for Bush. The people at that concert cheered.....it was the folks back in the US that got angry.
PS: Don't forget.....that sign was paid for out of the public coffers....I would think some folks would be upset about that.Last edited by RestoRod; 06-29-2010 at 10:26 AM.

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
