Wotcha Payin Fer Gas?

Hello Mikey, Eastren Canada, we're paying $1.01 per litre. There are about 4.5 litres in a gallon,so that's about $4.55 a gallon. It always gets to me when I cross the border in the US. Irving Oil has gas stations in both US and Canada,about a mile apart . The US side gas is usually atleast a buck a gallon cheaper,but the gas all comes from the same depot.

I just paid $2.74/gallon tho most local stations are in the $2.79(Hess)/2.85(Mobil) range.
As far as Canada - taxes, taxes and more taxes and in NY State - we're catching up quicklyDave W

"A buck a gallon cheaper..." Remember, you only get 3.78 liters in a Yankee gallon, and their money is worth more. Still cheaper, but not quite as bad as it looks at first glance.

Higher taxes in Canada............the price we pay for free healthcare, still better then paying $60.000 to get your fingers re-attached as in Michael Moores "sicko" movie

$2.74/gallon. It's been as low as $2.01 to a high of $2.98.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
