I agree, the video clip is pretty cool to watch. It's good to see your starting point, and the steps you're going through to use pieces/parts available to you that are so much different from what has become "normal" in the US, like the Volvo drive train. Thank you Roger ! Here the rod guys don't share your opinion. They mean that it is not correct to use parts from the fifties or sixties for a rod. As example I sold the Ford grill and bought a Grill from a Mercedes for a self made custom grill.



I dont told them that I only wanne use the Grill shell without the signs and insert. So they wanted to stone me for that.

shame not so open-minds here...

Keep posting! I can guarantee that your English is better than most anyone's German that's reading your posts here! We will enjoy watching your approach, and will not hesitate to ask questions if we can't understand something you have said.

Keep doing what you're doing Stephan!!!! Next time the clowns complain, just remind them who's car it is, and who's paying the bills!!!!!! Then suggest they go home and build their own!!!!! That always quiets all the "experts" down!!!!!!!!

What a day... after 1 year searching I've found a perfect Ford Model-A rebuildet front, with some extra sheet for welding.

Yep, I wouldn't mind finding that cowl & windshield piece! Might push me into a Woody project!

Finaly we picked up the chassis today and bring it back home after 6 month. The Volvo tuner had no time to do the conversion. So I sold him the Volvo and get my deposit back.

Great build. Sorry to hear about the chasis and engine. We get frustrated with people taking forever and doing nothing too! Keep at it. The project is moving along well!

Thank you, I'm very proud about your coments! You're right, sometimes it is very frustrating to build a rod, but that makes this special feeling, if another door opens!

My dream is a flathead but they are extremly expensiv here and I don't have contacts for a import from US. Perhaps I only have to wait for a while...and the next door will be the right one

6 x door sheets

Today I bought this Ford headlights.

With a bit of cleanup, sanding, and paint they should work out fine! Good find, it's getting all the little pieces right that make for a nicely done car!!!!
