Back at it after taking some time off.
Most of the fabrication is done.
I must say that I'm pleased how the doors came out.
The hinges, latches and inner door panels were the biggest challenge.
My saving grace were the Model A door hinges I got from Blue Chip Engineering. They are steel rather than cast iron or bronze so I was able to modify them as needed.
still lots of finish welding and grinding to doLast edited by ohekk; 02-25-2011 at 06:27 PM.

Cool. Clever place for the battery! Nice work on the body. I know how much time and work is needed for these old steel bodies, not to mention all the chopping modifications!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Welcome back and thanks for the update. Sure looks fine considering the two big boxes of parts you brought home on the back of your pick up truck. Have you any other pictures of the build from the last photo you posted ?I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.
