Here's mine in the roadster. Just finished it last weekend. Took out a 10 year old melted Ron Francis Bare Bonz mess & installed a AAW Highway22.
Dash plugs. There's something like 21 wires to dash.
I hate that plastic split loom stuff. Looks cheap. I used this braid under hood to hide wiring colors & to clean it up. Cut w/ a hot knife, shrink wrap the ends.
Wires look like this when done. This is for 3 wire alternator, fan temp switch & elect choke in 1 braid.

Steve, Very nice, would you give us a heads up on that "BRAID"
RSProtected people will never know or understand the intensity life can be lived at. To do that you must complettly and totally understand the meaning of the word "DUCK"

Wow, those are some great wiring jobs!
But they all seem to be on real hot rods, where you can do what you want, where you want. But my job looks more like evolvos
At least at this time...but is it true that with a production re-build you have less options or am I just making it up????
Anyway, here are some in-progress shots of the wiring in my elky, painless??? Hardly!!!...at least I'm enjoying the ride!

I do like that newer AAW module with the screw down wire retainers rather then the press to release that my version hasIf I didn't have to remove 75% of the upholstery I might consider replacing my earlier version. I do have a couple of pieces of split convoluted loom which is hidden away for the rear lights but I ran that braided stuff wherever it was in sight in the engine compartment. I couldn't find a local source for that braided loom. I have a box of the convoluted loom that I bought in advance of doing my wiring - probably swap meet sell it this spring - cheap.

Steve,
Is the box to the left with the main power feed a circuit protector? Also, the small terminal block to the lower left - just a means of multiplying outputs?
General Question - From IC2's link to his wiring thread, I understand that the AAW kit comes with a complete schematic while Ron Francis & Painless come only with written instructions? What about others?Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
