I've heard nothing but great things about Grundy.

I can't give you rate info yet, but my plan is to list my coupe with my normal agent that has all of my coverage using an agreed valuation policy. As an occassional vehicle I have been told by other rodders that the "specialty" companies will be significantly higher. I will be interested in the answers you get from those already active.Roger

I have cars on both Grundy and Hagerty, both good, similar policy provisions, but Grundy is less expensive, at least in my area. That's why you can't listen to what other people tell you about their rates unless they're in your same area. Each state has it's own requirements for policy minimums/provisions and each geographic area has different loss experiences which affect the actuarial calculations. So rates for the same value policy can vary. The term "AGREED" value is what you want, not "STATED" value. Inexperienced people think the words mean the same thing...................but in contract language they're different.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Americancollectors.com did my 69 442 for $92 per year,$25 thousand agreed value,5000 miles per year. that covers me and the wife as drivers. They also agreed to cover my 19 year old boy for another $300 per year (depends on state)

Has anyone looked into the new collector car insurance being offered by AAA? They were promoting it at The March Meet.

I have Grundy on my hot rod and AAA on my three other vehicles, plus they have my home owners policy. My thinking is to have it all with one company for ease.
I deal with many different insurance companies every day and for the most part they are all good and fair in their appraisals IMO. The worst company for us to do business with is Progressive, without a doubt. They are just CHEAP, and have no concern for how fast the insured gets their vehicle back.

How did you get your tag without an insurance statement?
I have a company called Classic Collectors that my Allstate agent steered me too. From the looks of it, my rate is not too good, 6,000 miles, $12,000 agreed value and $153 annual.
And I would love to see a photo of the 32!...at least I'm enjoying the ride!
