    Jeff, I'm not sure you answered Mike's question, he asked about the anodizing inside the clamp where the battery cable strands would make contact. Your answer regarded the contact area for the battery post. In the pics, it appears the anodized coating is still inside cable connection area. Are you absolutely sure the anodized clamp won't arch if improper contact is made?

    They are nice, hi-tech looking clamps, would look good if the battery is exposed, but so many are hidden out of sight now.
