I guess then based on the past household driving history I don't have too much to worry about so far with Grundy. I got a suspicious stop light ticket about 10 years ago which was cheaper to pay then challenge, and my wife tried to widen the garage entry way with her car, but I paid that "ding" out of pocket. Luckily, my insurance carrier, AMICA, forgave the one ticket.

Agents are not equal, that's for sure. My AmFam agent went to bat for me when I wanted to go pick up my roller chassis & body, but found that my truck/trailer insurance only covered the load for liability, not for any damage to the load. They wrote an auto policy for comp & collission only, and maintained it through construction for me. The CHROME guy was amazed that AmFam had done that for me. My only headache is that if I should have a total loss their contract language includes an "...or market value..." clause which will likely get us into an argument. State Farm is the same way, as is Allstate and the other "traditional" carriers. That said, my '33 is "....just another car..." to them - no restrictions on mileage, trips to the store, using it to run errands, or anything else. It is a pleasure vehicle, and I can use it as it pleases meRoger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

i had haggerty for 3 years and was very happy. then my youngest son got his license and wanted to drive my car to shows. so i contacted haggerty to add him. they dropped me. so i told them that i would not let him drive the car. they told me i had to add him because he lived in my house and they would not cover it. so i hunted around and got a great rate with no restrictions on me or my son from geico.BARB
