1969 international harvester loadstar COE hot rod on GEARZ
how many here watch the show GEARZ with stacey david? that show builds some cool rides.
the latest project is a 1969 international harvester loadstar COE (cab over engine) single axle big rig truck. the motor is a desiel out of a 2001 chevy truck. the power plant and allision tranny were totally reworked by PPE in california.
stacey said they got the motor to pump out 600 hp and about 1350 fpt
the build just started this week-end on the show l watched, l will really be intersted on how this big hot rod turns out. the truck will be lowered and a few other mods, details are here at;
http://www.gearztv.com/projects/heavymetal.html.
all l have is dial-up right now, so if someone visits the gearz site and wants to post pics, go ahead, it's ok with me.
Laterlead, follow or get outta the way

This truck reminds me of many similar ones that I put in a lot of windshield time in, and it will be another interesting build.
I watch as regularly as my DVR will let me - it's sometimes a bit cranky, and I'm just too lazy to go get another one. I like Stacy, have been a fan since his days on what is now Powerblock TV.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.

Ever ride in one?
They are trucks, and ride like trucks, and steer like trucks, and park like trucks...COE trucks to boot.
All the spiffing up is cool, but it will still be a truck.
BTW.. I like trucks.
My butt likes cars.
My arms like cars.
My neck likes cars.
Other than that
