    Cross Ram intakes

    Will a cross ram intake from either a 413 Max Wedge or a 426Hemi cross-ram bolt onto a 400 or 440 block?

Stevet47: Yes the cross ram will work, I ran the same setup on my 440 magnum for a time. I eventually went back to a single 4-barell setup though, keeping those carberators in time without the vaacum gauges was a real challenge. http://www.allpar.com/WEDGE.HTML

Here are a couple of sites for you to check out.

i am refering to the narrower cross ram intakes, not the ealier produced wider spread intakes, like the picture vara4 posted.

    Stevet47; My Bad!
Streets; Yep those things were a pain in the butt, and probably weighed about 40 pounds a piece with out the carbs or linkage.

Stevet47; Here is a good site to check out
    http://www.nznet.gen.nz/homepages/dodge/wedge2.htm

Now this next site shows the 413 and the 440 intakes as the same ID numbers, So I would have to say that it should fit. But to be sure call this intake manifold dealer. Hope this helps you some.
