    trying to meet my goal

I have been bustin butt by myself to meet my goal. My goal is to get my body sitting on my frame by Nov. I am doing the bed liner stuff on the underside of my body. I just remembered tonight I have to cut access holes for my master cylinder and for my electric fuel pump. I will try and get them cut after work tomorrow. I have had my body sitting in my paint booth area for about a year now. I would like to get this on the frame so I can maybe do some paint jobs this winter. As of yesterday I did not have a good feeling about this goal being met. But as of tonight I feel I might have a chance to make it. Please hold off snow. I'm getting old and tired. It's hard to come home from work and tear into the rod. Just keep pulling for me boys.
    Thanks for letting me vent

Just keep plugging away at it. If you don't meet your goal so be it. Enjoy your build and don't pressure yourself into cutting any corners. I have learned that many other things like family have a bigger priority than the rod does. I am on year 18 of my build so you see where i am going with this. I have enjoyed every bit of it though. When will it be done is a good guess but it will get done I ain't given up.

I have to agree with Buzz. Specifically don't rush so much that you end up cutting corners. I speak from experience. I rushed to amke a deadline and spen most of my "triumphant" weekend piecing it back together ans spending far too much time on the side of the road.

    Creep,

Not many finish their projects on time or on budget. My 34 is years behind schedule and if I might say, somewhat over budget. But it will get done.

I am ashamed to say how long I have been working on this 34. Thats why I get so PO ed when I see these guys on TV building a beutiful rod in a week. I think we just don't see the corners they cut. I wish they never would have started them TV shows. Even the home remodel shows. Doing a bathroom in a weekend. Yah right.
    All the best

No I have not posted any photo's yet. I can't figure out where to post them at. Maybe I need some help doing that. Plus I need to take more photo's. I'm really bad at that. Just something I never think of. come to think of it I don't think about a lot of things. I guess maybe that means something. I wish I knew what it was.
