There was someone doing a FFR '33 on here, but I did not find the thread either. I looked at the kit when they first came out and seriously considered getting one for a while. But the more I looked at them I did not like the "tweaks" FFR made to the body lines, and in particular the covers on the frame area tying the body/grill together, the removable top/windshield feature, their grill and the overall "stance". This is pure preference, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The FFR '33 was designed first as a race capable street chassis (they out perform the FFR Cobra replica chassis) then skinned with a custom fiberglass body. I decided to go for a traditional look from N&N, and accept the fact that I would not be competetive in a road race

Thanks for your input Roger,i looked at several here in Charlotte at the Autofair last month. Like you said, there are a lot of neat features and some i found not so appealing. Like the top mounting, if you wanted a coupe you actually had a Roadster with a top bolted on! Ok i guess, but not really what i'm looking for.
    Thanks again,
    Bill

I was just updating my thread when I saw your post.

I know FFR took some liberty with the design of the body. Like was mentioned though, it's basically race car that's loosely styled like a '33, it's not supposed to be a replica. after I got my mind wrapped around the concept, I was ok with it. But like everything, it's not for everyone.

(for that matter, why would someone put a supercharger on a track car??)
